CHALLENGE

Artists Gert Robijns and Hugo Duchateau are taking over the Emile Van Doren Museum, House of Landscape. Gert Robijns did it with a monumental 4-meters-high mirror installation all around the villa, as a painting changing on the rythm of the seasons. Behind these mirrors, inside the museum, Hugo Duchateau summarizes landscapes to their essences : lines colors and shape suggest the horizon, between seasons and atmospheres.

PROPOSITION

To echo Robijns’ & Duchateau’s work, I developed a visual around rythm, seasons and landscape. Each season, the photographers of the City of Genk will shoot the new landscape revealed by the mirrors, and a new visual will be made, with the same principles. This allows the museum to advertise for their exhibition all year long, as the exhibition evolves.
